The Maggie Flannigan Studio is located at 153 W 27th Street in New York. There is a full time Conservatory Program that is modeled based on university level MFA training and consists of two 32 week course. Classes are held twice per week for about three and a half hours.
Interviews are held throughout the year and due to the popularity of the class students are encouraged to apply in a timely manner because classes are filled quickly. Some of the courses include theatre history, monologues, script analysis and works related to Shakespeare.
The Part-Time Conservatory Program consists of specific acting classes however students may supplement their study with auxiliary classes of their choosing in order to create a program to suit individual needs. Additionally, studio alumni and students seeking non-technique classes may choose to study Movement, Voice, Commercial, Film/TV, Stage Combat, and other auxiliary classes.
Part-time students may pay tuition on a monthly basis and the cost is $475 per month. Auxiliary classes average $600-$800 per semester and can be paid upon registration or divided into monthly payments.
Full time tuition ranges from $14,900 to $15,100 per year. The studio uses techniques such as Meisner which begins with simple exercises and becomes more complex as the actor develops advanced skills.
