The Portland Actors Conservatory is located at 1436 SW Montgomery St, Portland, OR, and provides comprehensive actor training for the novice to the profession taught be professional actors and directors in a creative and supportive environment.
This is a school where artists can discover the truth of the moment through the exploration of theory and technique and the art of performance.
Accommodation is available and Portland Actors Conservatory does not require first year students to live on-campus. Some students genuinely prefer living on campus due to the fact that it is more convenient, has a better living environment, and offers more opportunities to be exposed to a wider range of ideas and culture.
Additionally, they will be within walking distance of all their classes, labs, libraries, theatres, concerts, and sports facilities. Living on campus saves time. There are other students who might prefer off campus accommodation because they have the chance to get more privacy, independence from dorm rules, more room space, and less health risks during flu seasons.
Tuition is basically $15,100 for both in state and out of state students who enroll in the program and an interview with the Artistic Director is necessary before a student can be accepted into the program.
